July 25, 2007 - Micro Power Again Named Fastest Growing Company In Oregon

July 25, 2007 - Micro Power Electronics, Inc. announced today that Portland Business Journal has again named it one of Oregon’s fastest growing private companies. Micro Power ranked 76 out of 100 companies, based on percentage of revenue growth form 2004 through 2006. Micro Power experienced 59 percent growth over this two-year period.

Micro Power was also recognized as one of the top ten companies with the highest revenue, and one of the top ten companies with highest employee percentage growth.

Last year, the journal ranked Micro Power 42 out of 100 companies, based on percentage of revenue growth from 2003 through 2005. Micro Power experienced 115 percent growth over this two-year period.

Earlier this year, Micro Power announced that it acquired SelfCHARGE, Inc., a Redmond, WA-based provider of battery chargers, docking stations and battery packs. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
