May 6, 2009 - Micro Power, the global leader in portable power solutions for mission-critical equipment, today named Paul Ross, former President of defense giant ATK (formerly Alliant Techsystems), to its board of directors.

Mr. Ross garnered extensive experience in the defense industry at Edina, Minnesota-based ATK, where he oversaw the acquisition of aerospace manufacturer Thiokol, an event viewed by many financial experts as one of the industry’s most successful mergers. Prior to ATK, Mr. Ross held a variety of senior management positions with Rockwell International.
