Under their leadership and direction, Micro Power has become the fastest North American supplier of portable power systems and continues to develop innovative solutions for mission-critical portable power applications.

Paul Brown

Vice President-Finance & Chief Financial Officer

As the financial leader of the Micro Power executive team, Mr. Brown brings a diverse background to the company, with experience as CFO of both public and private companies in technology, manufacturing and services industries. He has led initiatives to go public (IPO) as well as a "go-private" transaction to join a private equity firm. Mr. Brown is dedicated to establishing and maintaining a results-based environment, using measurable metrics to monitor business performance. Most recently, he was Vice President of Finance and CFO for PSC Inc., a leading technology company with products utilizing laser scanning, imaging and RFID for data collection applications in the retail and supply chain industries. Mr. Brown has also had substantial operating leadership experience, which has provided significant additional dimension to his role in finance. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Brown attended Harvard University, and graduated with a BS in Business from Portland State University.

Eric Petterson

Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Petterson is responsible for engineering functions including Product Design, Test, Project Engineering, and ongoing Production Support. He has served in several capacities during his tenure at Micro Power, in roles managing both New Product Development and Existing Production Support activities. Under Mr. Petterson's direction, Micro Power has successfully delivered numerous new product designs while focusing on meeting customer design requirements. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Oregon State University.

Ron Pitchel

Vice President of Operations

Mr. Pitchel has more than 30 years of experience leading manufacturing companies in the aerospace, automotive, and communications industries. Throughout his career, he has held executive positions serving as Vice President, General Manager and Director at several companies. Most recently Mr. Pitchel served as Vice President of Operations at Vertis Communications, Inc. where he was responsible for the management and profit improvements across seven print advertising facilities, implementing process enhancements which increased earnings by more than 30%. His experience also includes the management of the Pneumatic Control's Design Engineering department at AlliedSignal Aerospace (Honeywell), leading a team of senior engineers in the design, development and production introduction of complex aircraft systems. Mr. Pitchel holds a degree in Aeronautical Technology, attended Arizona State University and is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt and Lean Expert.

John Rokus

Vice President of Continuous Improvement

Mr. Rokus is accredited by the American Society for Quality as a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He is responsible for training and coaching Micro Power employees throughout the organization in lean deployment, and applying Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies. Mr. Rokus drives Engineering and Production process improvements, which has the greatest impact on meeting the company's efficiency objectives. Prior to joining Micro Power, Mr. Rokus worked at Daimler Trucks North America for thirteen years, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing and engineering in Daimler's Business Excellence department. Mr. Rokus earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering from Oregon State University.

RitaMarie Trueworthy

Director of Human Resources

As the Director of Human Resources, Ms. Trueworthy oversees recruitment, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, training, safety and general office administration. Prior to joining Micro Power, she held Human Resources positions at FEI Company, Teleplan, LaCie, Ltd. and MicroAge Technology Services.

Ms. Trueworthy is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and has over 15 years of Human Resources experience. She earned a B.S. in Business Education from the University of North Dakota, where she also attended graduate school.

Jeffrey VanZwol

Vice President of Marketing

Jeffrey VanZwol is Vice President of Marketing with over 20 years experience in all aspects of technical marketing including product management, product marketing, marketing communications, and partner management. He has demonstrated a successful track record in generating revenue with emerging technologies in both domestic and international markets. Previous employers include ADC Telecommunications, Newbridge Networks, and Unisys Defense Products. Mr. VanZwol earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Saint Francis Xavier University and a Master's degree of Business Administration from McGill University. He has extensive presentation experience on a wide variety of technical topics and has presented at conferences such as Advancements in Battery Technology and Power Management Conference, Battery Power, Power Systems World, and the Military Technology Conference.

Greg Webster

Vice President of Sales

Greg Webster is responsible for the sales team dedicated to development and growth of customers at Micro Power. For more than ten years, Mr. Webster has worked at Micro Power in several capacities. He previously served as an account management supervisor and developed a vendor managed inventory system with key customers. As a regional sales manager, Mr. Webster was responsible for growing Micro Power's client base in the Pacific Northwest. He managed the strategic sales team establishing a foundation for Micro Power's growth. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Management and Finance from Portland State University.
